Special Interests and Experience Amaisha has worked in a variety of settings, including private clinics, schools, and hospital settings. Amaisha presented at the Ohio Speech Language Hearing Association’s Annual Convention in 2017 on using voice output speech devices as a treatment tool for toddlers with language delay.

Amaisha is trained in the LAMP Words for Life program and is also trained in PROMPT. She enjoys spending time with her family, boating, taking walks with her dogs, home decorating, creating unique bird houses, gardening, and shopping.Īcademics and Special Achievements Amaisha graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2010. Personal Interests She has three children and a grandson. She also enjoys working with children with apraxia and correct /r/ speech sound errors. She enjoys working with children of all ages, but she especially enjoys preschool and school aged language delay/disorders. She and Nikki Kerns started Chatterbox in 2008 and prior to that time she worked in both in schools and with the Infant-Toddler Program treating children ages Birth to 3 in the home setting. Special Interests and Experience Kirsten has been a speech-language pathologist for 20+ years. This award enabled her and all the Master’s level graduates of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology to receive their diplomas first before everyone else in the Health Science Department. In her last year of graduate school, Kirsten received Outstanding Student Achievement award for the College of Health Sciences at Idaho State University.
